I still remember my grandfather’s old whole plate camera. He was the only photographer in his town in central Mexico. He didn’t allow kids in his studio where he kept that big magic box, so I had to peek into the room when he wasn’t around.
That’s where my curiosity about photography began. I yearned to know what it was like to hold that mystical instrument and glimpse the world through its glass eye. What would it be like to capture a single moment and make it last forever?
That curiosity has never left me. I still get a thrill viewing the world through that crystal lens and holding time inside a magic box. Photography is the way I explore the world. Thank you for joining me in my journey. I hope you enjoy these moments I have captured.
